At Apollo Physiotherapy, we are specialists in treating pain and dysfunction of the musculoskeletal system. We employ a hands-on manual therapy approach to reduce pain and restore function, coupled with a strong focus on rehabilitation to prevent recurrence.
You do not require a GP referral to attend for physiotherapy assessment and treatment. If you are unsure whether physiotherapy is the correct option for you please do not hesitate to contact us. We have an extensive network of referral pathways and can direct you the appropriate physician if required.
Back and neck pain will affect over 80% of the population at some stage in their lives. At Apollo Physiotherapy, we are experts at diagnosing and treating spinal pain. There are many different reasons for spinal pain including trauma, poor posture, weak trunk stability muscles, repetitive strain.
At Apollo Physiotherapy, we are passionate about promoting health through exercise. Therefore, our aim is to help you return to your chosen sport or exercise as quickly as possible following injury. Our approach begins with an accurate diagnosis of the injury and identifying any underlying factors which may have contributed to the injury, such as sub-optimal functional movement patterns, technique or training factors. We use manual therapy treatment techniques such as Dry Needling, specific soft tissue mobilisation techniques, and joint mobilisations to reduce pain and restore normal movement.
Trigger point dry needling is a very effective treatment technique for muscle pain and dysfunction.Trigger points are tiny contraction knots within a muscle that develop when a muscle is injured or overworked, causing pain and dysfunction. They typically develop as a result of overload in a muscle such as repetitive use, or abnormal loading of muscle associated with poor postures.
At Apollo Physiotherapy, our physiotherapists have undergone extensive post graduate training and have a wealth of experience in treating women’s health conditions such as chronic pelvic pain, bladder and bowel dysfunction and pelvic organ prolapse.

Apollo Physiotherapy offers a comprehensive post-natal assessment to identify any muscle imbalances and postural weaknesses that can occur during your pregnancy. We aim to optimise your post-natal recovery through treating any biomechanical dysfunctions and providing a specific post-natal exercise programme that will see you back to your pre-baby fitness levels.
